Tin Plates – Sevres garlands

These beautiful tin plates have been decorated by reproducing some of the finest historic ceramic artwork around the world from museums and private collections.

Their elegance makes them perfect for a period look as a place setting, for serving and for picnics.

They also make attractive wall decorations, on their own or as a group.

This design is taken from a Sevres Porcelain saucer dated 1760.  The decoration consists of a scalloped border, suspended from which are garlands of roses, cornflowers and pansies interlaced in pairs to form heart shapes.  The cup and matching saucer were probably acquired by the 3rd Marquis of Hertford (1777-1842).
